General Partner

James Wang leads Creative Ventures’ systematic investment strategy, fundraising, and core focus areas in AI/ML, infrastructure, automation, and robotics. Previously, he was part of the core investment team at Bridgewater Associates, led a project at Google\[X\], and co-founded a health-tech startup. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science (AI/ML) from Georgia Tech, an M.B.A. from UC Berkeley, and a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from Dartmouth.

Dr. Kulika Weizman oversees Creative Ventures’ investment research, operations, and resource allocation, and leads the firm’s strategy in healthcare, biotechnology platforms, and planetary health. Prior to Creative Ventures, she co-founded and served as CEO of a synthetic biology startup spun out of her Ph.D. research at UC Berkeley. She holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from UC Berkeley and dual B.S. degrees in Economics (Wharton) and Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering (University of Pennsylvania), and serves as a reviewer for the NSF SBIR Biological Technologies program.
